Veteran actor Fabian Adibe has passed away at the age of 85.
Adibe, remembered for his role in the screen adaptation of Things Fall Apart, reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday, around 2:30 a.m.
While full details about his passing are yet to be made public, the news was first shared by journalist Seun Oloketuyi, who announced it on his Instagram page.
Fabian Adibe was part of the pioneering generation of actors who helped shape the Nigerian movie industry into what it is today. In the 1970s, he stood among the vibrant group of Igbo creatives who came together to form the Odunke Artists, leaving a cultural imprint that continues to inspire.
