Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has requested that his alleged fraud case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) be moved to Kogi. This request comes amid ongoing disputes with the anti-corruption agency over accusations of mismanaging state funds during his tenure.
As reported by TVC News, Bello argues that since the alleged offenses occurred while he was serving as governor, it would be appropriate for the case to be tried in Kogi State.
