Over the weekend, Burna Boy made history by becoming the first African artist to sell out the iconic Stade de France. His performance left Paris buzzing and created a night fans will remember for years to come.
“Remember what I said about empty chairs?” he posted on Instagram after the show. “Thank you, France, for consistently making my dreams come true.”
And what a dream it was. The Afrofusion star electrified one of Europe’s largest stadiums with a high-energy show packed with unforgettable music and vibrant choreography. Joined by his band, The Outsiders, and a talented group of dancers, Burna Boy took the crowd on a journey through hits like “City Boys,” “Last Last,” and “Sittin’ on Top of the World.” Each song was met with roaring applause as fans sang along, making the atmosphere electric.
But the night wasn’t just about Burna Boy. The stage came alive with an international mix of musical legends and rising stars. Senegal’s Youssou Ndour, British rapper Santan Dave, French-Congolese singer Dadju, and French-Haitian artist Joé Dwèt Filé joined Burna for an epic performance of their “4 Kampé” remix. The excitement didn’t stop there—French-Cameroonian rapper Werenoi, along with Fireboy DML, Shallipopi, DJ Lambo, and Burna’s sister Nissi, turned the concert into a global celebration of music and culture.
And yes, there were fireworks!
“Sold this stadium in a couple of months, off-cycle! I’m so thankful for you all!!” Burna shared. “Big love to everyone who graced the stage with me. I appreciate every last one of you.”
