Burna Boy’s Generosity Shines at Port Harcourt Hospital
Music star Burna Boy recently extended a helping hand to patients at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH). During his visit, he covered the medical expenses for selected individuals, the hospital management confirmed.
While some rumors suggested that Burna Boy paid the bills for all patients at UPTH, the hospital clarified that only specific patients benefited from his generosity, either through direct cash gifts or donations.
“We appreciate Burna Boy’s generosity in assisting some of our patients with their medical bills during his visit on June 11,” said UPTH spokesperson Elabha Meni on Friday. “However, it is important to note that not all patients received financial aid. The hospital did not receive direct payments from Burna Boy or his team.”
Meni praised the musician’s charitable actions, highlighting the positive impact on those who received support.
