Nothing beats a love story that stands the test of time, and that’s exactly what Bose and Samuel Ogulu just gave us. The proud parents of Afrobeats star Burna Boy marked their 35th wedding anniversary with heartfelt joy and a look back at their journey together.
Bose, who doubles as Burna Boy’s manager and a respected cultural figure, celebrated the milestone with touching words and a series of nostalgic photos that perfectly captured their love story.
“Thanking God for 35 years since we each said ‘I do’ & ‘Till death do us part.’ Thanking God for the journey, the roller coaster ride & the joy of watching the three musketeers we have been appointed caretakers of. Happy Anniversary to us,” she wrote.
The photo collection walked fans through decades of memories: from their traditional wedding surrounded by loved ones, to their church ceremony where Samuel looked sharp in a suit while Bose shone in her white bridal gown.
Other images showed the couple in vibrant attire — Bose in a striking turquoise outfit with matching gele, Samuel in timeless white — as well as more recent moments of them enjoying life together. One playful snapshot even showed Bose with a can of drink in hand while warmly shaking Samuel’s.
