Five remarkable young women from Africa — representing Cameroon, Uganda, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe — have secured a spot among the top 20 finalists in the Multimedia Challenge at the 72nd Miss World Festival. Issie Princesse, Selma Kamanya, Zoalise Jansen van Rensburg, Natasha Nyonyozi, and Courtney Jongwe have each brought their unique voice and purpose to the spotlight throughout this year’s competition.
Their selection is no coincidence. These contestants have consistently used their online platforms not just to share glamorous moments, but to open up about their personal journeys, champion meaningful causes, and highlight the emotional highs and lows of their experience in Telangana.
From early preparations at home to the vibrant atmosphere of the festival, their stories have unfolded across various platforms — Instagram, Facebook, and the Miss World app — drawing support and admiration from audiences around the globe. Their content stood out for being genuine, heartfelt, and purpose-driven.
Now, these finalists face one more exciting challenge. They’ve been tasked with creating a short video that captures their entire Miss World journey — from the moment they were crowned in their home countries to the cultural adventures and connections they’ve made during the festival.
The final video is expected to include everything from welcome experiences in Telangana to behind-the-scenes memories, heartfelt reflections, and the friendships that blossomed along the way. As the grand finale draws near, these five contestants are not just beauty queens — they are storytellers, changemakers, and proud ambassadors of their nations.
