Cara Delevingne expresses joy for Taylor Swift’s connection with Travis Kelce.
“I’m so, so happy for her,” the model shared with E! News recently. “There’s definitely something very different about them.”
Delevingne, a longtime friend of the “Lover” singer, added, “I’m always rooting for my girl.”
The “Suicide Squad” actress, aged 31, is among a group of pals of the Grammy winner who have commented on her relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
Gigi Hadid, in particular, echoed her enthusiasm for Swift while dismissing rumors that she disagreed with the way the singer was navigating her developing relationship.
“We are all over the moon for our girl,” the supermodel commented on a post by gossip blogger Perez Hilton last week. “Period.”
Swift, aged 33, seems to be keeping her A-list friends close as her romance with Kelce, aged 34, continues to make headlines. Earlier this month, she was seen having a girls’ night out in New York City alongside Hadid, Delevingne, Selena Gomez, and Sophie Turner.
The group, along with Brittany Mahomes, was photographed arm-in-arm as they left a high-end sushi restaurant on Bond Street in good spirits. The “Love Story” singer has even brought her crew to her beau’s football games.
Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets game on Oct. 1 with her pals Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Sabrina Carpenter.
She has also been present at Kelce’s games independently and has formed a friendship with his teammate Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.
Rumors of the couple’s relationship surfaced in September, several months after the athlete revealed his attempt (which failed) to give Swift his number at one of her Eras Tour stops. They seemingly confirmed the speculations when Swift attended Kelce’s game against the Chicago Bears in Kansas City, Mo., on Sept. 24.
During an interview with WSJ. Magazine published Monday, Kelce shared that the singer was the first to reach out to connect after he expressed his interest to mutual friends.
The duo hasn’t been shy about displaying their relationship, frequently photographed strolling around NYC and sharing affection at Swift’s international Eras Tour concert in Argentina.
