Since Takeoff’s passing, Cardi B has had trouble getting Offset to smile.
The rapper admitted that despite their best efforts, it has been tough for her and her husband to move on with their lives following the tragedy.
She remarked on Instagram Live, “We’re living our lives normally, but deep down within our hearts have been so heavy.
Cardi acknowledged that she struggles to express her emotions on social media. “I feel like if I talk about—the internet is so desensitized—if we talk about how we actually feel and what motherfu**ers really been going through, y’all would start saying, “Oh pity. And we’re not looking for any pity. We are not a needy family.

Cardi continued by acknowledging how difficult it has been to try and make Offset happy. However, I have been feeling so helpless in my attempts to cheer up my husband, get a grin out of him, stop him from crying at unexpected times, and otherwise divert his attention.
Takeoff was tragically murdered outside a Houston bowling alley a few weeks ago. People are becoming more “comfortable with trying to be humorous,” according to Cardi B, and talking “slick,” but she isn’t having it.
She cautioned, “We not in the mood to be fu**in’ playing around with y’all.” “I’m going to kill y’all, deadass. Stop playing your a**.
Offset has sought the support of his family through this terrible period. He was seen playing basketball with his kids over the Thanksgiving break. After Takeoff’s memorial service, he shared another heartfelt remembrance of his cousin.
He captioned a photo of Takeoff with, “Missing everything about you, especially that smile.”
