After Takeoff’s terrible passing on November 1, Cardi B, Offset, and Quavo were seen for the first time.
The three rappers were spotted entering a black SUV on Thursday night as they attended the late rapper’s wake. They were all wearing all-black attire.
Cardi B wore a form-fitting outfit while Offset and Quavo, who had a falling out earlier this year, were both dressed in suits and dark sunglasses.
About a dozen more people joined the separated family, some of whom were smoking cigarettes to relieve stress and others who were drinking alcohol.
The gathering takes place just one day before Takeoff’s “Celebration of Life” draws close to 20,000 spectators to Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
Although tickets for Georgia residents were free, the memorial event quickly sold out once it opened for registration. Justin Bieber and other well-known rappers are scheduled to play.
Migos was founded in 2008 by Takeoff, Offset, and Quavo, who was present when the 28-year-old rapper was shot.
Offset gently paid tribute to his cousin by changing his Instagram profile photo to one of the late rappers last week, while Quavo has yet to publicly address his nephew’s passing.
The singer of “Bodak Yellow” also showed her respect by retweeting a Complex video in which the three Migos members spoke about the value of family.
Takeoff says of the ring he wears, which has a picture of him and his mother when he was a boy, “My dudes got me this ring.” It will always be a part of me, too. I’m not going to take it off ever.
The late rapper discussed wanting his “flowers” while he was still alive in another unsettling video that has since surfaced.
Kirshnik Khari Ball, better known as Takeoff, was shot and died last week in a Houston bowling alley.
The “Stir Fry” rapper was shot in the head and body, which the coroner later confirmed. Quality Control Music, the rapper’s record label, said he was killed by a “stray bullet.”
Police are currently conducting their investigation.
