Cardi B has given her fans an early Christmas present.
The rapper’s new album isn’t due out until next year, but after being pressed by fans, she took to Twitter to share a snippet of new music.
“Here are some scraps because yall STARVING,” Cardi tweeted to her 27 million followers on Monday. With the lyrics, Cardi takes aim at her detractors. “They be watching every time I post / Posted nothing, always gotta do the most / Bitches sound like you broke,” she raps in the short video.

The unreleased song, however, is unlikely to appear on her upcoming sophomore album. When asked why the song was scrapped, she replied, “I just don’t love it.”

Cardi decided to share the music after discovering a fake reference track with “cliché” lyrics.
“I just feel like these are things that people think I’d want or say,” she explained. “Would you like to party with Cardi? That’s so late for me to say it’s like me saying okruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu And Jenny from their block sample is cliche and expected….. “Nice try, though.”

Cardi B revealed that the follow-up to 2018’s Invasion of Privacy would be released in 2023. “I don’t have a choice. “I have to get it out there,” she said on “The Breakfast Club.” “I have a couple of songs that are definitely definites.” I’m not sure what’s wrong with me. “I just need to make up my mind and put it out there.”
Cardi B has been on the scene for over four years, and she admits that her anxiety has contributed to the delay. “I feel like I have a lot of songs and I just don’t like anything.” “I feel as if nothing is good enough,” she explained. “I’ve got so much f**king money saved up that I’m like, yeah, whatever the f**k.”
