Before performing a dance-heavy mix of Michael Jackson hits like “Beat It,” “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’,” “Billie Jean,” and “Thriller,” he began his seven-minute act with his smash “Under the Influence.”
“U SERIOUS?” he said in the caption. before disclosing that it was an AMA performance. Would have been the AMAFest, but they canceled me for unspecified reasons.
The news infuriated his supporters. One person responded, “You’ve suffered long enough, you deserve your MF flowers,” and another said, “GIVE THIS MAN HIS PROPS AND STOP JUDGING HIM FOR HIS PAST.”
