Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are introducing their daughter to the world.
On Thursday, less than a week after giving birth to a baby girl, the proud mother shared the first photo of Esti Maxine Stephens, who was born on January 13.
Miles, 4, and Luna, 6, are seen in the photo lovingly gazing at their baby sister while cradling her in a blanket.
“She’s arrived!” “Esti Maxine Stephens – the house is bustling and our family couldn’t be happier,” Teigen captioned the photo.
“Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I’m learning you still need diapers after a c-section!? “We’re in heaven,” she added. “Thank you for all of your good wishes and love – we feel it all!”
Legend used the same photo to praise his wife. “We welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens into our family on Friday, and our home is overflowing with love and joy,” he said. “I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience and I’m so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I’m grateful, but grateful doesn’t seem like a big enough word…”

Esti is named after Legend’s grandmother, Marjorie Maxine Stephens, who died in February 2021. “Maxine” is another song on the Grammy-winning singer’s 2006 album Once Again.
Friends such as Viola Davis, Angela Bassett, Melanie Fiona, and Muni Long congratulated the couple on Instagram. During a private concert on January 13, Legend announced the birth of his baby girl. “What a blessed day,” he exclaimed to the audience.
Teigen revealed in August that she was expecting again after the miscarriage of their son Jack in October 2020.
“To say the least, the last few years have been a blur of emotions, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” Teigen, who underwent IVF treatments, said. “1 billion shots later (most recently in the leg, as you can see!) we have another on the way.”
