Christina Aguilera was one of the music industry’s most popular and controversial pop singers in the early 2000s.
For a long time, the singer of hits like ‘Lady Marmalade’ was regarded as one of the sexiest women on the planet, with public and online appearances highlighting her allure.
As the artist reflects on that period in her career, she considers the sexualization of her public persona.
In an appearance on the podcast Call Her Daddy, Aguilera discussed the years leading up to the release of her hit song Stripped, which were a difficult time for the singer.
“It’s ironic that I took on that persona because I was most likely the last to lose my virginity. “It was later than you’d think,” the Staten Island resident revealed.

The pop star admitted that she was too focused on her music albums at the time and sometimes neglected her personal life.
She went on to say that she wanted to explore her sex life and that only a few people were close to her: “It was something that was for me.” I had some dancers who were in close quarters with me. You travel a lot and have limited access to many things, so it is what it is.”
“Perhaps I should have noticed he wasn’t looking at me. He had no interest in me. He had his gaze fixed on him.’ A lot of things make me go, ‘Oh, sad!’ “I feel sorry for my younger self,” Aguilera admitted.
Aguilera denied having flings with other celebrities in the podcast, saying, “I didn’t really have time for that.” “I was always looking for things that made me feel safe,” she explained.
