Cubana Chief Priest has shared the bittersweet news that he won’t be present for his close friend Davido’s white wedding in Miami — all because his U.S. visa didn’t come through.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the celebrity barman admitted he woke up with “mixed feelings,” knowing he would miss such an important milestone in his friend’s life. “You can clearly see how disappointed and hurt the world is to see me absent at my best friend’s wedding,” he wrote.
He also used the moment to make a public appeal to the Nigerian government and the U.S. Mission in Nigeria, urging them to help him secure a visa. “I appreciate the bashing because that has given me multiple reasons and proof to apply again. Do it for me this time,” he pleaded.
Even in his absence, his message ended on a warm note: “I’m wishing my best friend @davido and his beautiful wife @thechefchi an amazing wedlock.”
Just days before, Davido and Chioma hosted loved ones at a Havana-themed pre-wedding party that oozed style. Chioma lit up the evening in an elegant white dress, while Davido’s look carried his signature flair.
The Miami celebration, set for this weekend, is already making headlines — especially after Davido revealed it has cost him $3.7 million in cash so far.
