Dangote Cement Responds to Auchi Accident Involving Phyna’s Sister
Dangote Cement Plc has addressed the tragic accident in Auchi, Edo State, involving one of its trucks, which left Ruth Otabor — sister to reality TV star Phyna — critically injured.
Ruth, who had graduated less than a week earlier, underwent an amputation on one leg, and doctors remain concerned about the condition of the other. Witnesses say the truck driver did not stop after the incident, but was chased down and apprehended by a lecturer who witnessed the crash. The truck’s license plate had reportedly been removed before the vehicle was placed in police custody.
The company wrote: “Dangote Cement Plc has addressed the recent road accident in Auchi, Edo State, which involved one of its trucks and left Mrs. Ruth Otabor, sister of reality TV star Phyna, seriously injured.
