His hit song Kante, featuring Fave, from his Grammy-nominated album Timeless (2023), is among the selected tracks.

Sharing his thoughts, King Charles III expressed how deeply music resonates with him.
“Music has always been a significant part of my life. It has the power to bring back cherished memories, provide comfort during difficult times, and transport us to different places. Most importantly, it has the ability to uplift and unite us in celebration,” the 76-year-old monarch said.
He also highlighted his fondness for Pidgin English and recalled his attempt at delivering a speech in Pidgin during his last visit to Nigeria.
“It also features lyrics in Pidgin, which I absolutely love. When I last visited Nigeria, I even attempted to make a speech in it. Thanks to Afrobeats, this vibrant language and sound are becoming even more popular worldwide,” he added.
The King’s Music Room playlist will be exclusively available on Apple Music in celebration of Commonwealth Day 2025, set for March 11.
