Aide to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has accused the organizers of Big Brother Naija of manipulating the results after Dede finished as runner-up in the recently concluded Season 10 of the reality show.
In a post shared on X, Ossai claimed that Dede was unfairly denied the top spot because the organizers allegedly didn’t want another contestant from Delta State to win after Kellyrae, also from Delta, took the crown last season.
He insisted that Dede deserved to win, saying she represented viewers exceptionally well and should have been crowned the champion.
Ossai went further to say he would be taking legal action against the organizers, alleging that the voting process was tampered with.
“Dede was cheated because they didn’t want another Delta contestant to win after Kellyrae’s victory last year,” he wrote. “She earned that win—not just as a Delta girl, but as someone who made everyone proud.”
He added that while he works on legal steps, he plans to console himself by attending the upcoming Bole Feast in Asaba on October 26, where Chef Nnagbogu Ifeyinwa of Reetaz Kitchen will attempt to prepare the longest Bole. He also mentioned plans to host Dede in Asaba soon.
