Following the devastating consequences of flooding in their states, the governors of Delta, Bayelsa, Kogi, Anambra, and Benue states yesterday pleaded with the federal government to intervene swiftly to prevent an impending humanitarian disaster.
The governors said they needed immediate assistance from the federal government after speaking separately about the severe effects of this year’s flood in their states.
