Diane Keaton has announced that she is no longer dating.
The 77-year-old actress, who has never been married, stated that she is “highly unlikely” to be in another relationship.
“I don’t date,” Keaton said in an AARP Magazine interview. “I don’t recall anyone calling me and saying, ‘This is So-and-So, I’d like to take you out.'” They do not occur. Certainly not.”
In fact, Keaton has always embraced the single life, adopting son Duke, 22, and daughter Dexter, 27, in her 50s.
“They’re fantastic,” Keaton said of her children. “They’re doing a good job.”

Keaton, however, has found a new companion to capture her heart now that her children have moved out: a dog named Reggie.
“Dogs are irresistible,” she says. “They’re just stupid.” Reggie is a jerk who is also hilarious.”
Keaton told Extra in January that it had been 15 years since she had been on a date, joking that her suitors probably thought she was “too weird.”

She expressed the same sentiment three years ago, telling People that she isn’t marriage material.
“I think I’m odd,” she admitted. “I was thinking about it today. I’m 73 years old, and I believe I’m the only single woman in my generation, if not before.”
“[I’m not sad] because I think I needed more of a maternal aspect,” she continued. I don’t think it would have been a good idea for me to marry, and I’m glad I didn’t, and I’m sure they’re glad too.”
Although she hasn’t been on the field in a while, she has dated some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Woody Allen, Warren Beatty, Al Pacino, and Brad Pitt.
