Drake continues to release new music.
Champagne Papi debuted his long-awaited collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert on Friday’s episode of “The Fri Yiy Show” on SiriusXM’s Sound 42, just a day after releasing “Search & Rescue.” The song, titled “At the Gates,” is said to begin with Uzi before Drake takes the mic.
Drake raps, “I ain’t on no phony shit / Me I’m good, I don’t need shit / Uzi good, he don’t need shit.” “Talkin’ about how they took my girl / You know that ain’t my only girl.”
“Don’t ask for no feature / Only rapping on my homie shit / Let my brothers come up off my name and they don’t owe me shit / I can’t let you come up off my name until I’m at the gates,” he continues.
Uzi then follows up with a longer verse. He raps, “I put diamonds in my Spirit of Ecstasy.” “Bitch, I’m on a half-dose of ecstasy.”

A 50-second clip of the song first appeared online in September 2021.
While this is their first collaboration, Drake has previously expressed his admiration for Uzi. He invited him to perform at J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival last weekend and at his Apollo show in January.
“I adore this guy,” Drake told the audience. “Not only are you one of the greatest artists of our time, but I’m so excited to be alive at the same time as you, given how experimental you are and how brilliant you are.” But this guy keeps an eye on me; he’s the real deal.”

It is unknown when the song will be available on streaming services. It was previously thought to be for Uzi’s long-awaited Pink Tape.
Drake released his single “Search & Rescue” on Friday, which features a sample of Kim Kardashian from the 2021 season finale of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” in which she discusses her split from Kanye West.
