Although it is not Father’s Day, Drake is preparing for the competition.
The 6 God took to Instagram to brag about his rap influence. He posted a photo of himself hugging his dog with a caption that sounds like it was plucked from his next hit.
“Many of those boys you entertain wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for me, so don’t forget to wish me a happy Father’s Day on June 18th,” he wrote.

Drake has every reason to be pleased with himself. He was ranked No. 8 on Billboard’s list of the Greatest Rappers of All Time, and some of his famous friends, including Michael B. Jordan and Jim Jones, have referred to him as the GOAT.
“He’s the greatest of all time,” Jones said to Complex. “The relevancy that he keeps showing, year after year, hit after hit, record after record. Any record he’s released has gone platinum multiple times. That has never happened before in history.”

Drake appeared to have heard Jim Jones’ praise and reposted photos of the Diplomats rapper, as well as a photo of himself wearing a Dipset jacket, on his Instagram Story.
Drake and Cam’ron shared the stage at Drake’s Apollo show in January, where he performed with Dipset while dressed in Cam’ron’s pink mink.
“These guys from Harlem made us dress different, talk different, walk different, rap different all the way in Canada,” he said, paying tribute to the group.
