If you tuned in yesterday, you already know Ebuka kicked off Season 10 in full pink power. First, a beaded denim jacket and flared trousers that gave major Nkem Owoh energy. Then, a traditional pink agbada with coral beads, tipping his hat (literally) to the legendary King Sunny Ade. Both looks? Designed by the brilliant ATAFO. Both? Instant hits.
But tonight, he stepped out in something that felt like a walk through time.
His first look of the evening was a bold two-piece suit made from fabric covered in vintage newspaper prints—eye-catching, nostalgic, and totally fresh. The wide-leg pants and vest were giving strong ’70s vibes, paired with a crisp white shirt with flared sleeves for extra drama.
To seal the tribute, he held a vinyl of Prince Nico Mbarga & Rocafil Jazz—yes, that Prince Nico, the voice behind “Sweet Mother,” one of the most iconic African songs ever made. And with those oversized sunglasses and old-school swagger? The resemblance wasn’t just visual—it was a whole vibe.
