Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg’s Anticipated MMA Match: Date Yet to be Confirmed.
Elon Musk recently mentioned that his proposed MMA match with Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, will be live-streamed on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. However, the date for the match is still uncertain due to potential surgery requirements for Musk.
In a post on X, Musk revealed that he will be undergoing an MRI of his neck and upper back, and surgery might be needed before the fight can take place. He assured his followers that more updates will be provided this week.
Since June, the tech moguls have been playfully challenging each other to an MMA cage match in Las Vegas. Musk stated that the proceeds from the fight will go to charity for veterans, and he has been preparing for the showdown by lifting weights throughout the day.
Zuckerberg, on the other hand, responded on his social media app Threads, expressing his readiness for the fight. He suggested the date of August 26, but Musk has not confirmed it yet. Zuckerberg also proposed using a more reliable platform that can raise money for charity.
The fun banter started when Musk announced on June 20 that he was “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg, who is trained in jiujitsu. The challenge continued with both teasing each other about the match location, and Musk even expressed that for men, it’s a “civilized form of war” to engage in such competitions.
However, the excitement and anticipation are still high as fans eagerly await confirmation of the match date and further updates from the two tech giants.
