Elon Musk commended advertisers on Saturday for coming back to Twitter after numerous rumors indicated well-known corporations like Apple and Amazon would start running ads again.
Musk just tweeted, “Just a note to thank advertisers for coming back to Twitter.
The tweet was in response to a story from the tech publication Platformer that Amazon would resume advertising on Twitter soon and had plans to spend $100 million a year doing so.

Following Musk’s $44 billion purchase of the company in late October, numerous businesses stopped running advertisements on the social media site, including Amazon. Many of those businesses have now made a comeback. As soon as certain security requirements are completed, Amazon intends to be one of those businesses.
And on Saturday, Musk said during a two-hour Twitter Space that Apple, the platform’s biggest sponsor, has “completely restarted” advertising on the social media site.
The information was released in response to Musk’s assertion from the previous week that Apple had “largely” stopped running ads on Twitter and had threatened to “withhold” the social media app from the app store.
Both Amazon and Apple remained silent in response to these reports.
Even while Musk, who has referred to himself as a “free speech absolutist,” tried to reassure advertisers that the platform would not become “a free-for-all hellscape,” marketers have grown apprehensive about how the material will be monitored.
