Eva Longoria talks about working as a job headhunter during the early years of acting.
Eva Longoria’s close friends recently defended her after she was chastised by soap star Eric Braeden for making “derogatory remarks about daytime actors.”
Longoria’s friends Eric Winter and Roselyn Sánchez addressed recent Braeden insulting remarks for Longoria on the He Said, Ella Dijo podcast.
Braeden was described as a “grumpy actor” by Winter, while Sánchez stated that Braeden “should apologize because [he was]out of line and his remarks were completely uncalled for.”
“The bottom line is that this grumpy actor Eric Braeden is an older gentleman who’s a soap veteran, he’s been around forever in the soap world,” Winter explained.
“This guy goes on a rant,” Winter continued. I don’t even want to be polite enough to read everything he says.”
“Braeden, in my opinion, is completely out of line because he has no idea what Eva’s financial situation was at that point in her career.” “I guarantee he was making a lot more money than she was,” Winter explained.
Longoria had previously opened up on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? because her acting job “didn’t pay enough for me to live off,” she “continued to be a headhunter and Young and the Restless.”
“And I would hide the fact that I was on Young and the Restless from my clients because they didn’t want a dumb actress handling their accounts,” the actress revealed.
“And one of my clients once said, ‘You look like a girl I’ve seen on a soap opera,'” Longoria continued. And I say, ‘No, I have no idea who that is.'”
