You’ve probably heard Johnny Drille’s smooth vocals, but here’s something that might surprise you: he’s not just a singer. Johnny’s also the genius behind the scenes—mixing, producing, and engineering music with the finesse of someone born for it. If anyone still had doubts, his recent concert, Johnny’s Room Live in London, put all of that talent on full display.
One of the standout moments? When Ayra Starr stepped onto the stage. The crowd went wild—but it was what she said that truly hit home. Smiling and clearly moved, she shared with the audience, “Johnny records all my songs. He’s the one who mixes, engineers, co-produces—everything I do has his fingerprints on it.”
Then she launched into a soulful performance of Last Heartbreak Song, her collab with Giveon from her second album, The Year I Turned 21. And just like that, the room felt like magic.
Later, Johnny posted a snippet from the night, writing: “It was such a pleasure to have my lil sis at our first ever Johnny’s Room Live London. Her voice is one of the purest gifts I’ve ever witnessed.”
It was a night of music, heart, and moments that reminded everyone why Johnny Drille’s influence runs deeper than most realize.
