Former AC Milan, Arsenal, and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud recently fell victim to a robbery, with thieves making off with jewelry worth around £400,000 from his Los Angeles home.
Reports indicate that the incident took place earlier this month, and while investigations are ongoing, authorities have yet to make any arrests. According to talkSPORT, law enforcement is actively following leads to recover the stolen items.
Now playing for Los Angeles FC (LAFC) in Major League Soccer (MLS), Giroud continues to make an impact after an illustrious career in Europe.
His journey began at Arsenal in 2012, where he became a key player and enjoyed significant success. In 2018, he moved to Chelsea, where he played a crucial role in securing both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League before departing in 2021.
A move to AC Milan followed, where he contributed to the club’s achievements before making the switch to the United States in 2024.
Recognized as one of France’s greatest strikers, Giroud holds the record as the country’s all-time top scorer, netting 57 goals in 137 appearances. His contributions were vital in France’s triumphs at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2021 UEFA Nations League.
