Nigerian singer and Abia State Governor’s aide on Tourism and Entertainment, Martins Okechukwu Justice, better known as J. Martins, has survived a terrifying accident that could have claimed his life.
The incident happened on Monday along the Enugu–Aba–Port Harcourt expressway when his car reportedly suffered a brake failure, causing it to veer off the road and crash into a nearby bush at high speed.
Speaking with ABN TV, J. Martins expressed deep gratitude to God for preserving his life, calling the experience nothing short of a miracle.
According to him, everyone in the vehicle came out unharmed, and no lives were lost. He added that he is currently undergoing medical examinations as a safety measure but remains in stable condition.
“It’s only God that will be praised. My car had a brake failure and lost control along the Enugu–Aba–Port Harcourt road. No one died. I’m fine, just running some scans at the hospital,” he said.
J. Martins, who has maintained a relatively low profile in recent years, is widely celebrated for timeless hits like “Oyoyo,” “Jupa,” “Good or Bad,” and “Cool Temper.” He also collaborated with the iconic music duo P-Square on the fan-favorite track “E No Easy.”
The singer’s narrow escape has sparked an outpouring of relief and prayers from fans and colleagues, grateful that he lived to tell the story.
