Farooq Oreagba Stole the Show with Not One, but Two Standout Looks at Ojude Oba
If there’s one person who knows how to make an entrance, it’s Farooq Oreagba—and at this year’s Ojude Oba Festival, he didn’t just show up; he made it a moment.
His first look was the definition of understated royalty. Draped in flowing layers of agbada in soft brown and beige tones, the outfit came alive with sharp, intricate embroidery—earthy browns, deep golds, and a surprising touch of blue. He added a classic cap and carried a walking stick like a true nobleman. And just when the crowd thought it couldn’t get any better, he rode in on horseback, owning every step and every stare.
But Farooq wasn’t done.
Later, he returned in a second look that turned the volume up—bold, vibrant, and unforgettable. This time, he wore a green and yellow agbada stitched with intricate embroidery that danced across the collar and sleeves in flowing, almost leaf-like designs. His trousers matched perfectly, with yellow details at the cuffs adding extra flair.
To top it all off, he chose a cap that pulled all the colours together, layered bold red beads around his neck, and wore a gold wristwatch that gleamed with confidence. Dark shades completed the transformation, giving him an effortlessly cool finish.
Farooq didn’t just dress up—he delivered style, charisma, and presence in two unforgettable rounds.
