Ghanaian rapper Medikal has stirred controversy with startling allegations concerning his former wife, Fella Makafui, suggesting that she underwent tummy tuck surgery to promote her slim tea business.
Medikal revealed that Fella’s previously flaunted flat stomach, attributed to her slim tea product, was actually the result of surgical procedures rather than the advertised tea.
Despite his initial objections, Medikal conceded and funded her surgeries in Nigeria and Turkey, ensuring her satisfaction, with expenses totaling over €25,000.
“After childbirth, Fella expressed concerns about her post-pregnancy weight affecting her business promotions. While I suggested using ambassadors or influencers for the slim tea, she insisted on endorsing the products herself. Our disagreement led to a three to four-month estrangement,” Medikal explained.
In a bid to prioritize Fella’s happiness, Medikal admitted to financing her surgeries overseas, covering all expenses, including accommodations, amounting to over €25,000 or more.
Despite his reservations and concerns for Fella’s well-being, Medikal disclosed that she proceeded with the surgery against his advice. He questioned the necessity of jeopardizing her health and safety, particularly considering her roles as a wife and mother.
Medikal also revealed significant financial investments, including over $300,000, into Fella’s import and flat tummy businesses.
These revelations come amid ongoing discord between Medikal and Fella, shedding light on the complexities of their relationship and business ventures. As the public grapples with these revelations, discussions surrounding the dynamics of celebrity marriages and entrepreneurial pursuits continue to unfold.
