Aliko Dangote, Abdulsamad Rabiu, and Mike Adenuga, all Nigerian businessmen and entrepreneurs, have been named to Forbes Africa’s Billionaires list for 2023.
“Net worths were calculated using stock prices and currency exchange rates from the close of business on Friday, January 13, 2023,” Forbes says of the report’s methodology. To value privately held businesses, we begin with revenue or profit estimates and then apply the current price-to-sale or price-to-earnings ratios for comparable public companies. Within weeks or days of our measurement date, some list members become richer or poorer.”
