Ford has confirmed to CarBuzz that the 2023 Bronco order banks will begin later this month. According to a Ford spokesman, “Bronco retail ordering at Ford dealers will reopen on March 27.” It will only be open for 24 hours.
Ford Authority first reported that buyers could place orders on that date again, but further clarification was required, and we now have it. Interested buyers should be aware that if any of the ’23 units are not built prior to the model-year changeover, which typically occurs in the summer or early fall, Ford may not provide price protection or ’24 model-year transition offers.

Production has clearly resumed, and it appears that Ford will accept orders from new customers rather than completing an order backlog. Even before the first Broncos rolled off the assembly line in Wayne, Michigan, they were hugely popular. Unfortunately, this was just getting started when the coronavirus pandemic hit the world.
