Meghan Markle is looking a lot like Yoko Ono lately, according to France’s former First Lady Carla Bruni, a harsh – and kinda hilarious – comparison.
Carla shared a photoshopped image from Prince Harry and Meghan’s engagement photo shoot, but she replaced Meghan with Yoko. The real punchline is in her caption: lyrics from The Beatles’ 1967 hit “All You Need Is Love.”
Carla is comparing Meghan’s involvement in Harry’s life to Yoko Ono’s relationship with John Lennon, which has been widely portrayed as the reason The Beatles split up. So, yeah… a lot of shade!
Carla, who is married to former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, has a mixed reaction to the meme; some think it’s hilarious, while others don’t. “Girlfriend, have you looked in the mirror?” one person asked Carla.
As you may know, Harry and Meghan have had a turbulent relationship recently, and it appears that more drama is on the way with Harry’s new memoir, “Spare,” which includes his sharing of text messages between Meghan and Kate Middleton.
Meghan’s claim that it was Kate who made her cry over dresses is supported by Harry’s receipts.
