Giorgio Armani to Be Laid to Rest in Private Ceremony Near Milan
Legendary Italian designer Giorgio Armani, who passed away at the age of 91, will be laid to rest on Monday in a quiet family ceremony in a village outside Milan.
Over the weekend, thousands of admirers gathered in Milan to pay their last respects, filing past his coffin displayed beside the headquarters of his iconic fashion house.

According to local officials, Armani will be buried in the medieval village of Rivalta, south of Milan, where his late mother also rests. Security has been arranged to maintain privacy during the afternoon service.

Milan’s mayor, Giuseppe Sala, has declared Monday a day of mourning in the city, honouring the man whose name became synonymous with timeless elegance.
As a tribute, Armani’s boutiques across Italy will close for the afternoon, the company confirmed.
