Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has publicly accused fellow artist Davido of attempting to have him arrested over defamation claims. The dispute between the two artists began in 2023 when Dammy Krane alleged that Davido owed him money.
In a recent post on X, Dammy Krane alleged that there are plans to wrongfully arrest him on Davido’s orders. He claimed that Davido has supposedly orchestrated a scheme to accuse him of being involved in crypto scams, and he warned that Davido should be held accountable if anything were to happen to him.
Dammy Krane wrote, “If anything happens to me, @davido should be held responsible. @davido has paid to have me arrested. They’ve filed a false petition accusing me of being involved in Flutterwave and crypto scams just to get me behind bars. This is how bad cops are used to tarnish the reputation of the police.”
In response to the feud, veteran fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, also known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has intervened. KWAM 1 has urged Dammy Krane to put an end to his ongoing conflict with Davido. This call for reconciliation comes after Dammy Krane previously linked Davido to the death of his friend Tagbo in 2017, which further fueled the dispute. KWAM 1’s intervention aims to restore peace and end the public quarrel between the two artists.
