Comedienne and actress Real Warri Pikin has opened up about her pregnancy, revealing that her decision to undergo gastric sleeve surgery played a big role in helping her conceive.
In a recent chat, she explained that the surgery not only improved her overall health but also made it easier for her to get pregnant. She shared that before the procedure, her weight had caused several complications, but losing it cleared many of those challenges.
“I had 80 percent of my stomach removed,” she said. “It helped me reach a healthier weight and gave me a better chance at motherhood. The surgery didn’t touch my womb or affect my ability to carry a child. In fact, it made things easier.”
The entertainer added that she’s having a smooth, risk-free pregnancy and is grateful for the transformation.
When asked about continuing her work while expecting, she was quick to dismiss the idea that pregnancy should slow her down.
“Why should I put my life on pause? My doctor has cleared me, and I’m not a high-risk case. Our mothers worked on farms until delivery, some even gave birth right there. So why should hosting a show in the U.S. while pregnant be seen as unusual? I still have my kids, my husband, my marriage, and my business to take care of. Expecting another baby doesn’t mean I stop living.”
