Gervonta Davis forgets winner takes-all bet in a fit of generosity toward Ryan Garcia.
Despite his KO loss to Gervonta Davis on Saturday night in Las Vegas, Ryan Garcia is satisfied with his performance.
Davis announced that he will not be collecting the winnings from their pre-match winner-take-all bet.
‘Tank’ Davis stated in a press conference that he has no intention of pressuring his rival to pay his share of the money despite the previously agreed-upon contract.
“No, he’s free to keep the money.” “He can take the money; he can take it,” Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis said prior to the competition.

How much Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia earned
Gervonta Davis could have made around $10 million.
The purse includes the fight contract, the PPV, and 50% of the tickets sold at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The arena sold approximately 20,000 seats priced between $373 and $11,000 dollars.
Although the figures are not official, Ryan Garcia walked away with $5 million thanks to the generosity of his rival ‘Tank’ Davis.

Garcia has one eye on a rematch
Ryan Garcia is already planning a rematch with his opponent after suffering defeat and admitting his opponent’s superiority in the ring. This time, however, there is one condition: it must be in a different category.
“I’m depressed after the fight. I’ve done everything I can to come in with a body punch and come back stronger. “Hopefully, once I get a couple of wins, we can rematch, maybe at 140 or 147 pounds,” King Ry said in a video posted on social media.
