The latest in a long line of squabbles over King Charles’ coronation appears to be Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s desire for a seat on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the coronation itself.
They also want to be recognized during the celebrations for their two young children. These two requests have repeatedly caused ‘chaos’ in the family and among the organizers.
The couple is said to be delaying confirming their attendance until the requests are granted. They were recently sent invitations to the ceremony, which will be held on May 6 in London. It is a round trip distance of 5,459 miles from their home in the United States of America.

Senior members of the royal family are widely expected to give them the ‘cold shoulder’ if they attend. The main concerns for Harry and Meghan are their son Archie, who will be four on the day of the coronation, and Princess Lilibet’s role.
According to a source close to the palace, Archie and Lilibet have not been invited to the coronation.
“The palace is attempting to conclude negotiations as soon as possible because they cannot go all the way to the end. It could result in chaos “according to an insider.
“However, the Sussexes are pushing for inclusion with the rest of the family at the Palace later that day,” the insider continued.
“It’s also Archie’s birthday on Coronation Day, so they’d like to honor him with a lunch or drinks reception. Even if it’s just a birthday greeting.”
