Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats icon Davido, has shared heartfelt details about how deeply her husband encourages her ambitions beyond family life. Speaking in an interview with Noire TV, the renowned chef revealed that Davido’s care goes far beyond grand gestures—he is intentional about helping her chase her own goals.
“David cares a lot about my dreams. I’ve faced many challenges over time, but he would always ask me, ‘Chi, apart from all of this, what do you really want to do?’ Then we’d make plans together and work towards them. He truly supports my personal dreams,” she said.
The couple’s love story began during their university days and has since endured public attention, career demands, and personal heartbreak. In 2022, they faced the devastating loss of their first child, Ifeanyi—a tragedy that, while deeply painful, strengthened their bond.
Now parents to three children, including twins born in October 2023, Davido and Chioma have managed to grow their family while pursuing their individual aspirations. Their journey has been marked by milestone celebrations, including a private court wedding in March 2023 and a grand traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024.
Their upcoming white wedding in Miami is already the talk of the town, with Davido revealing he has spent over $3.7 million to make it a truly spectacular occasion.
