Afrobeats sensation Adekunle Gold has shut down rumors that he underwent a bone marrow transplant to manage his sickle cell condition.
The speculation began after a post on X claimed the singer had the procedure and suggested it had reduced the severity of his symptoms. But Adekunle quickly cleared the air, calling out the confidence with which people spread false information.
In his words, “The way people just say things they know nothing about with so much confidence is wild. No, I haven’t had a bone marrow transplant.”
Meanwhile, actor Jerry Williams has reportedly been taken into custody by police in Delta State. He was allegedly picked up from his residence on Monday, July 21, with the help of a man identified as Nwafor Franklin, also known as Izutech.
Actor Stanley Ontop took to social media to raise concerns about Jerry’s safety, revealing that he was allegedly moved to Benin, Edo State. Stanley also accused Izutech of being involved in a debt of ₦2.5 million—money reportedly collected from producers hoping to cast Jerry in upcoming projects.
He urged the public to hold Izutech accountable if anything happens to Jerry, describing the situation as deeply troubling.
