Celebrity nightlife promoter Okechukwu Pascal, widely known as Cubana ChiefPriest, has weighed in on the recent arrest of businessman and entertainment mogul, E-Money, by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
E-Money, whose real name is Emeka Okonkwo, was reportedly taken in by authorities at his residence in Omole, Lagos, over allegations of mishandling currency during public appearances — specifically, spraying foreign currency, which violates financial regulations.
Reacting to the development via his Instagram page, Cubana ChiefPriest shared his thoughts on what he believes to be a targeted move. According to him, the arrest seems to come on the heels of E-Money’s visible efforts to uplift his community — particularly his recent Easter homecoming event in the Southeast.
In a show of support, he emphasized the resilience and strength of the Igbo people, calling E-Money’s situation a temporary challenge that will only make him stronger.
He wrote, “This is someone who just gave his all to spotlight the Southeast during Easter. I saw this coming — the moment they noticed his impact, they tried to clip his wings. But we’re not shaken. We don’t fall — we rise. More success stories are on the way. E-Money, this is just a phase. Like that Rolls Royce we ride, it’s a symbol — not a setback.”
His message resonated with many who view the situation as bigger than the headlines — a conversation about power, influence, and standing tall in the face of adversity.
