Nigerians may soon have the opportunity to see their favorite musicians, Davido and Wizkid, perform together on a joint music tour.
On Wednesday, Wizkid took to Instagram to make the shocking announcement that he would be going on tour with fellow musician Davido.
Wizkid wrote on his Instagram story, “After my ‘MLLE (More Love, Less Ego)’ tour!!” I’m going on a tour with Davido! Save your money! I don’t want to hear Pim”.
Wizkid reportedly delayed the release of his fifth album, ‘More Love, Less Ego,’ following the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi.
Fans applauded the ‘Ojulegba’ crooner’s gesture, commending him for his show of respect and support.
Since the tour’s announcement, fans have been ecstatic, with many anticipating a joint performance by the two music icons. Wizkid and Davido famously shared the stage at Wizkid’s December 2017 concert, where he brought Davido out as a special guest to perform ‘FIA’.
