Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner, Sule Kingsley, popularly known as Kellyrae, has expressed frustration over the overwhelming requests for financial help from family and friends. In an interview with media personality Hero Daniels, the reality TV star shared how people have been reaching out for assistance after he publicly mentioned giving his wife, Kassia, N55 million from his prize money.
Kellyrae urged those seeking financial favors to give him space to adjust to his new life.
“I’ve been getting calls from people close to us since I mentioned giving Kassia N55 million, and now they’re asking for their share,” he explained. “I just want to say, I’m not rich yet, please. Yes, the money is a lot, but things are expensive. Even if it’s just eggs I want to buy, how many crates of eggs will I be able to get? Please, let a brother settle.”
Kellyrae won the show with a grand prize of N60 million in cash and a brand new car valued at N40 million.
In a related interview, Kellyrae admitted that he didn’t expect to win, believing that viewers favored fellow housemates Wanni, Handi, and Onyeka.
