At the Soundstorm Festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday night, DJ Khaled paid tribute to the late Migos rapper after performances by Quavo, Offset, and Drake.
“My brother will be honored by us. As images of Takeoff played on the massive outside screens, Khaled uttered, “I’m sending my love to the Migos, QC.” My brother Takeoff, may you rest in peace.
He mused on their friendship and invited the crowd to light up the sky with their smartphones. “Takeoff, you are loved, brother. You loved me so much, I must say. One of the kindest individuals I have ever encountered,” continued Khaled. “Every time I spoke with you, you proclaimed your love for me. I hit back at you and declared my love.

Before revealing that Migos was meant to join him on stage at the festival, the We the Best mogul had the crowd singing along as he played singles by the rappers like “Fight Night” and “Versace.”
According to Billboard, Khaled stated, “It was going to be my surprise guest.” They remain in place. Takeoff, make some noise for my brother. Takeoff has already begun. I adore you. We value your help.
