Laycon, winner of Big Brother Naija’s ‘LockDown’ edition and now a singer, has publicly called out DJ Neptune over unpaid royalties from their collaboration. In a post on his X account, Laycon expressed his frustration, revealing that DJ Neptune has yet to pay him for their joint effort on the song “Nobody (Icons Remix).”
The reality TV star-turned-musician highlighted that it’s been four years since the song’s release, and Neptune has remained silent on the matter. Laycon urged DJ Neptune to honor their agreement, emphasizing the importance of sticking to commitments in the music industry.
He wrote, “DJ Neptune, what’s the update on our agreement and split for the ‘Nobody (Icons Remix)’ track? It’s been 4 years—let’s sort this out.”
