Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has shared exciting details about her daughter Priscilla’s upcoming wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. In September, Naija News reported that Iyabo Ojo confirmed her daughter’s engagement to Jux after photos and videos of the couple circulated online, sparking some speculation about whether it was a publicity stunt or part of a music video.
During an interview at the premiere of Seven Doors, a film produced by Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo, Iyabo Ojo revealed the grand plans for the wedding.
She shared, “2025, iya iyawo loading” (a Yoruba phrase for mother of the bride). “We are giving 100 invitations to our fans. We know our core fans, and we will pick them. We have organizers already. When we get there, we will cross that bridge.”
“The first and second weddings will be held in Nigeria, the third in Tanzania, and the fourth will be a destination wedding.”
Meanwhile, Iyabo Ojo has also addressed accusations made against her, claiming some people alleged she was involved in the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad. Naija News reported that Iyabo Ojo discussed these allegations on the Glass House podcast with comedian AY. She clarified that she was never seeking clout from Mohbad’s passing, but rather was genuinely invested in seeking justice for the late music star.
