After being hospitalized for three weeks, actor Jamie Foxx made his first public statement on Instagram.
“Thank you for all of your support!!!” On Wednesday, he wrote, “Feeling blessed,” followed by a series of emojis of prayer hands, a heart, and a fox.
The actor, 55, broke his silence three weeks after his daughter, Corinne Foxx, revealed on Instagram that he had “experienced a medical complication.”

Foxx also thanked actor and “The Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon in an Instagram story for filling in as a guest host for Foxx’s show “Beat Shazam.”
“Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon,” Foxx wrote. “See you all soon.”
When Corinne Foxx announced her father’s hospitalization on April 12, she did not provide any details about the nature of the medical incident or where Foxx was at the time.
“Fortunately, he is already on his way to recovery due to quick action and great care,” Corinne Foxx wrote at the time.
“We know how beloved he is, and we appreciate your prayers,” she added.
