Jamie Foxx has been hospitalized since April 11, and his close friend Charles Alston, also known as “Charlie Mack” or “Mr. Philadelphia,” has taken to Instagram to ask for prayers and well wishes for the actor.
In an Instagram post on May 1, Charles asked everyone to keep Jamie in their thoughts and prayers, saying, “We need you back Bro. As I always say, a true champion isn’t one who wins, but one who faces and overcomes adversity!! “Your test is now your testimony!!”
“We all can’t wait to receive you back home to celebrate, laugh with, and applaud you!!” he continued. Charles begged “Allah The Creator of the Heavens & Earth” for mercy and his “merciful healing powers” over Jamie.

Jamie’s hospitalization surprised fans because his friend Nick Cannon had said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on April 23 that he was on the mend. He did not, however, provide any information about Jamie’s condition.
Previously, a source told the outlet that Jamie is “healing” and “feels the love from everyone.” Corinne Foxx, Jamie’s 29-year-old daughter, had announced his hospitalization to the public via an Instagram post. She had mentioned that Jamie had a medical complication but was on his way to recovery thanks to quick action and excellent care.
