Jamie Lopez, who starred on We TV’s “Super Sized Salon,” died on Monday, her company announced on Instagram. She was 37 years old.
There were no immediate details provided. The cause of death was not specified by Lopez’s Las Vegas-based company, Babydoll Beauty Couture.
“On behalf of the Babydoll Beauty Couture team, we regretfully announce, with great sadness, the passing of The Legendary Jamie Lopez, The Founder & Owner of Babydoll Beauty Couture,” the statement read.

We TV paid tribute to Lopez’s mission to create inclusive spaces for all women in its own statement.
“Jamie’s passion at Babydoll Beauty Couture to create a safe and welcoming environment for all women will never be forgotten,” the network said. “During this difficult time, our thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends.”

The first season of “Super Sized Salon” premiered in July and concluded in September. “Thank you for Believing,” she wrote to fans on Instagram after the season ended in October.

Lopez founded Babydoll Beauty Salon in Las Vegas with the goal of creating a beauty institution that did not discriminate against plus-size women. The show also showed Lopez’s weight loss journey after she lost 400 pounds.
