Jennifer Lopez’s social media pages have gone dark without warning, and her popular Instagram has been completely deleted.
The singer, actor, and producer’s Instagram account, which has 226 million followers and is her most popular platform, suddenly had no posts, and the profile picture had been changed to a solid black image as of late Tuesday.
J. Lo’s Twitter (45.5 million followers) and TikTok (15.4 million) accounts likewise changed their profile pictures to black ones, however her earlier posts remained visible on both networks.
On Facebook, where Lopez has 60 million fans, she altered her cover photo and profile picture with a picture of the script “jennifer lopez.”
Lopez’s representative declined to respond.
In the past, before important announcements like albums, celebrities and musicians deleted their social media accounts.
She recently acted in the romantic comedy “Marry Me” with Owen Wilson, and she will next be seen in the December release “Shotgun Wedding” with Josh Duhamel.
According to a multiyear deal between Netflix and her production company Nuyorican, Lopez will play an assassin in the action movie “The Mother,” which will be released on the streaming service in 2019.
She started a skincare line in 2021 JLo Beauty.
2014 saw the release of Lopez’s most recent studio album, “A.K.A.”
She shared the stage with Shakira during the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show, which served as the inspiration for the Netflix documentary “Halftime,” which was published earlier this year.
